Start with the characters on both sides
A catalogue companion gives you someone to talk to without designing a new character. Custom creation lets you choose an original adult identity, appearance, voice and background. A persona does something different: it tells the companion who you are playing. Personas require Ultimate.
These are fictional AI interactions, not introductions to real people. You write your own side of the exchange, whether you want friendship, romance or an invented adventure.
Try the conversation before building a long plot
Our Free plan includes 20 messages per day. Try planning an evening reading at a fictional bookshop: ask who should host, introduce a change of venue, then respond to the suggestion. SMS suits brief exchanges; Paragraph gives description more room.
For continuity, review the details a companion retains. Free uses the older memory system; Premium and Ultimate include editable lorebooks. Neither guarantees complete recall. A shared companion book can serve several chats, so changes may affect more than the thread in front of you.
Choose a visual activity on its own terms
Generation Studio makes images and videos from your selected character and instructions. Inspect a finished picture before using it as a video source. Quantity, model and other settings can change the Moments charge.

- Watch Secret Shorts for an episodic drama with individual access and unlock conditions.
- Request an image or video when you want new media rather than another text response.
Budget for access and usage separately
Premium and Ultimate include unlimited text messaging. They supply 8,000 and 15,000 Moments each month respectively, including on annual subscriptions. Annual billing does not deliver the entire year's grant at once. Ordinary unused grants are replaced; purchased top-ups follow different rules.
Ultimate also includes group chats, S4, Max thinking and edits to an existing custom personality. Compare subscription allowances and billing terms against the controls you need. Unlimited text does not mean unlimited pictures, clips or calls.

Yes. Continue in the same conversation and review important story facts. Use memory tools or a lorebook where available, and correct a detail if the companion gets it wrong.

What makes Ultimate different from Premium?
